A Desirable Grass for Homeowners
Our most popular cool-season turfgrass, Elite Plus is a blend of improved fescue and bluegrass which has year-round dark green color. The “Plus” is that it will gradually repair minor damage over time without the need for reseeding. It has a medium leaf blade, disease resistance, partial shade tolerance and a deep root system for drought tolerance. It is easy to care for and adapts well to the varied climates and soils of the West.
Elite Plus is:
- Highly resistant to common disease problems.
- Green year round.
- Requires water 1 to 2 times a week during cool weather, 3 or more during the summer heat.
Mowing:
- Mow to a height of 1.5 to 2.5 inches.
- Weekly mowing recommended
- Never mow more than 1/3 of the height down at one time, may cause injury to your lawn.
