sod unrolling

Absolutely recommend! I thought I made an order online on a Monday for a Saturday delivery and I called on Friday to see what type of payment, there was a glitch in the system (you can't make orders online) and turns out I didn't actually make the order even though I got a confirmation email. The lady I spoke with, Kym, went above and beyond and still managed to get me a delivery for the next day. I got a call later on about the delivery time frame and was told between 8:00am-10:00am. The delivery guy showed up at 8:05am. I won't go to any other sod company..

sod rolls

Sodlawn was terrific and answered all of our questions about which type of lawn was best for our area. Delivery was a breeze, and the actual lawn itself is so sturdy, healthy and beautiful it has actually withstood multiple raccoon assaults flipping the sod backward and eating the worms off the dirt underneath! I think most other sod would have died by now, but ours managed to establish and it looks amazing! We'd only use this company in future! Highly recommend!

We highly recommend SodLawn. We check around before we ordered and they had the best price and great customer service. I called to order and ask a few lawn variety questions they were very knowledgeable and helpful. We love our new lawn you won't be disappointed if you go with them.

The Lawn of Your Dreams in Chico

Located in the Sacramento Valley and nicknamed the "City of Roses," Chico is California's largest city north of Sacramento.

There are several unique places to visit to experience the city's arts and cultural opportunities. The Chico Air Museum features exhibits in an old hangar, which is one of the few left from World War II. The National Yo-Yo Museum is home to the world's largest yo-yo, which is four feet tall. And for those who enjoy circuses, the Chico Museum features the only circus exhibit in the Western United States.

Other arts and culture venues include the historic Bidwell Mansion, the Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology, the Gateway Science Museum, the Blue Room Theatre, the Chico Theatre Company, and several art galleries.

Those interested in enjoying the outdoors can take in the sights at Bidwell Park, which is one of the largest municipally-owned parks in the country. This park features picnic and swimming areas, rock formations, a playground, hiking trails, and a nature center. It's also common to spot a variety of animal species there, such as small mammals, birds, snakes, and even an occasional American Black Bear.

There are no Major League professional sports teams in Chico, but there are other sports organizations and activities, including the Chico State Wildcats baseball team, the Chico State Women's Rugby Club, and the Chico Rugby Club Senior Men's team. For those who enjoy adrenaline-filled opportunities for speed, the Silver Dollar Speedway at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds is a race track used for sprint car racing, Monster Truck shows, and BMX bikes.

The city of Chico has a large retail district that supports the local economy, and approximately 15% of the residents are employed by the government. Other major industries include social services, education, arts and entertainment, healthcare, recreation, and food service.

With its fertile soil and warm weather, Chico is also an ideal place for growing crops, such as almonds, walnuts, kiwis, peaches, and plums.

Some of the top employers in Chico are California State University-Chico, Enloe Medical Center, Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Performance Bicycle, and Tri Counties Bank.

The indigenous Mechoopda Maidu people made their homes in what is now the Chico area before the arrival of Europeans. With the arrival of settlers in wagon trains in 1843, Chico was founded by John Bidwell, a Brigadier General of the California Militia. The area then became known as Camp Chico during the Civil War, and it was later named Fort Bidwell. Chico was officially incorporated as a city in 1872.

The city of Chico has a Mediterranean climate that provides hot, dry summers and cool, wet winters. Most of the city's rain falls in January, which is the coolest month.
